Let’s keep it real for a moment while I break this down for you: You step on a piece of glass what do you do? Take Tylenol and call it a day? No, you take the glass out and let your foot heal – Well Duh Right?…..Now lets understand that Thyroid Medication does 1 thing: Supplements your thyroid hormone – that’s it. I created this particular group out of necessity. I’m a certified nutritionist and thru the process of finding my own solutions I determined women NEED to know there is more to our answers than medication. These are truly our goals and what we tackle in the group. I don’t hold some holy grail or magic pill – but I will explain everything your Dr won’t. Don’t get me wrong it’s not that they don’t “want” to help, sadly most often it’s because they simply don’t know. Weird – I know right but think about it. They go to “med” school. They are trained in medication NOT nutrition. Conventional medicine is just that – Medicine. Here are the symptoms, here are the labs, here is a pill. Functional medicine is different. It digs for the root, treats the patient not the symptom, looks at the cause and nutrition first. THIS is the difference!

I’m often asked What does Beachbody have to do with this and why am I buying this program for the group? It’s simple. These are our basic tools!

  1. We need to exercise but not in a kill me at the gym with a personal trainer kind of way but rather a “what does your body need today and what is your fitness level” kind of way. The main service we offer gives everything so you can decide your fit.

My husband told me this morning he could really tell I am loosing weight. I felt like I wasn't because the scale is moving very slow. So I decided to take my measurements today. **Followup April 2017: "I wanted to share with you what going gluten/soy/sugar/dairy(mostly) /coffee free did for me. I started this group in Sept. Its mostly nutrition. I dont work out as much as i should but i have a very physical job. And lots of water. I had MAJOR inflammation / fatigue and im off meds. I still struggle and need accountability but Sue has changed my life with hers. Just wanted to encourage y'all in your battle for health.... I feel much better I was in bad shape hurting everyday nothing else was working and I kept telling myself I don't really have to give up that do I is it going to make that much of a difference but it has I know I don't share a lot I get really busy and forget to take pictures of my food before I wolf it down after a 12-hour day but I just wanted to let you know that Sue is for Real and what she saying works and you can do it and it's not going to take forever or some crazy regimen"

"Oh my goodness so Im in tears right now from a huge happy high and relief. So I think it was around the first of December I weighed almost 190. Today’s weight is 179.4 and that was after 1 1/2 cups of coffee and starting this morning!!!! I had a huge hard stomach from not being able to go to the bathroom but maybe once a week to now I can go regularly and a much softer tummy!!! Isn’t it amazing that it doesn’t matter what diet program you choose, pills, exercise etc you do, fiber everything. Changing what I was eating for my thyroid, and I am seeing awesome results!! Not just the little weight I’ve lost, but the way I’m feeling and how my body is reacting to it!! I’m on cloud 9 right now!!!! Thank you coach Sue!!!”

I finally realized I need to stop making excuses and make it happen! I will tell you the last 21 day have been AMAZING!!! The first two days I thought to myself, “OMG, I’m going to die!”. But I worked hard and after 21 days I feel not only physically, but also mentally better doing this and I knew by day 7 I didn’t want to stop after day 21!
